| | Ithaca's Historic Downtown Clock | | |
During the summer of 2011, the City of Ithaca reached out to the community for assistance in rehabilitating the historic downtown clock. The community responded overwhelmingly, and as of early November sufficient funds have been raised to restore the mechanisms of the clock. The clock will now be controlled electronically so that neither power outages nor Daylight Savings Time changes will disrupt the correct timing of the clock.
