PHASE 1 SECURITY PROJECT

Proposal Due Date: February 10, 2021

The City of Ithaca is accepting sealed bids for the installation and set up of security measures at three of our City buildings.

Proposals must be returned in a sealed envelope clearly marked “Phase 1 Security Project” to the office of the City Manager, City of Ithaca, 129 W. Emerson St., Ithaca, MI 48847.

The City of Ithaca reserves the right to reject any or all bids for any reason, waive technicalities or irregularities, and to accept any bid if such action is believed to be in the best interest of the City.

Contractors must provide a copy of Liability and Worker’s Compensation Insurance with bid.

Bid opening will be at 9:00 A.M. in City Hall (129 W. Emerson St., Ithaca, MI) on February 10th, 2021.

An optional on-site review of the properties is scheduled for February 3rd, 2021 at 10:00a.m. Please call if you are planning to attend.

2 to 4 doors wired with key card access
3 indoor security cameras
3 outdoor security cameras
8 channel NAS with integrated 8 port poe switch and 6TB hdd
 Possible remote lock for front door

2. Community Center (120 N. Maple Street)
1 door access control panel
1 door wired with key card access
2 indoor security cameras
2 outdoor security cameras
8 channel NAS with integrated 8 port poe switch and 6TB hdd

3. DPW Maintenance Building (210 S. Elm Street)
1 door access control panel
1 door wired with key card access
5 security cameras
8 channel NAS with integrated 8 port poe switch and 6TB hdd

How to Respond

Along with your proposal, please provide a written response to each inquiry in the order listed below

1. Company Experience
● Provide a narrative description of your company
● Describe the general experience of your company
● Identify other municipal or general clients
● Timeframe to complete the project. When can you start and the duration of completion.
● Copy of Liability and Worker’s Compensation Insurance

2. References
● Provide three references that include all aspects of this project
● Inclusion of the reference in your proposal is also agreement that the City may contact the named reference
● The City may also contact any company or individuals, whether offered as references or otherwise, to obtain information that will assist the City in evaluating the Proposal. The City retains the right to use such information to make selection decisions. Submittal of a proposal is an agreement that the City may contact and utilize such information.

 

The City of Ithaca reserves the right to choose the scope of the project based on the variables listed in the project scope, compared with our budget. Please include these variable prices within your bid.

Each proposal shall be considered binding.
