US-127/US-127 Business Route ramp repairs in Gratiot County start Aug. 5
A Message from The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) will invest $359,000 to repair the US-127/US-127 Business Route (BR) ramps at Ithaca in Gratiot County. This work includes the removal and replacement of the concrete approach pavement. County: Highway: Closest city: Start date: Estimated end date: Traffic restrictions: The northbound US-127 off-ramp will be detoured via northbound US-127 to Polk Road, Polk Road to the southbound US-127 on-ramp, and southbound US-127 to US-127 BR. The southbound US-127 BR on-ramp will be detoured via US-127 BR to the northbound US-127 on-ramp, northbound US-127 to Polk Road, and Polk Road to the southbound US-127 on-ramp to southbound US-127. This phase will start on Monday, Aug. 5, and is expected to end on Thursday, Aug. 15. The second phase will include work on the northbound US-127 BR ramp to US-127 and the southbound US-127 off-ramp to US-127 BR from Monday, Aug. 19, through Thursday, Aug. 29. The northbound US-127 BR ramp will be detoured via westbound US-127 BR to Main Street, northbound on Main Street to Emerson Street, westbound on Emerson Street to Pine River Street, northbound on Pine River Steet to Polk Road, and eastbound on Polk Road to US-127. The southbound US-127 off-ramp will be detoured via the US-127 off-ramp to Polk Road, westbound on Polk Road to Pine River Street, southbound on Pine River Street to Emerson Street, eastbound on Emerson Street to Main Street, and southbound on Main Street to US-127 BR.
