| | Thompson Home Public Library | | | Vicki Root is the Director for the City Library, the Thompson Home Public Library. She is appointed by a five member Library Board. As Director, Vicki supervises a staff of five part-time library assistants:
- Val Cole
- Roxann Fatchett
- Peggy Kosek
- Carol Smaltz
- Julia Ward
In addition Vicki is responsible for the execution of Board policies; supervision of staff; maintenance of equipment and property; maintainence of the budget set by the Board; selection, acquisition, and organization of books and other materials; and coordination of public relations.
