Board and Commission Openings

 

PUBLIC NOTICE

CITY OF ITHACA

 

The City of Ithaca is accepting letters of interest for appointments to the following Boards and Commissions:


 

Planning Commission 3 Positions 3 Year Term Meets in 2nd Tuesday of the Month
Board of Review 1 Position 2 Year Term Meets in March, July and December
Board of Review 1 Position 3 Year Term Meets in March, July and December
Library Board 1 Position 5 year Term Meets Every other Month
Downtown Development Authority 3 Positions 3 year Term Meets 2nd Thursday of the Month

 

Eligible applicants must be an elector of the City of Ithaca and shall have been a resident of the City for period of not less than one year and must not be in default to the City.  The Library Board and Planning Commission each have one position that may be filled by a person who is not an elector of the City.  For more information on board and commission responsibilities, please contact Barbara Fandell, City Clerk at 989-875-3200.  Letters of interest will be accepted through May 12, 2016.  Terms run from July 1st through June 30th of each year.
